Each term we incorporate a lesson about a famous artist in our lesson planning. This week the children were taught all about the great British artist L S Lowry.
Children listened attentively to the story of Lowry and his works. However, they struggled drawing his famous ‘matchstick men.’ Not as easy as it looks.
They were attempting to assimilate the ‘Coming from School’ piece, which I am sure you will agree, were great attempts. That’s why L S Lowry’s work sells for millions!
